Dr Halden Hutchinson-Bazely BMBS DipIMC RCSEd FFTACC FFICM, is an intensive care and pre hospital care doctor. He has completed a fellowship at London HEMS, where he has remained as the London HEMS exsanguination specialist. In hospital he is a specialist in cardiac intensive care and ECMO in London. He has a deep interest in simulation and medical education, in particular optimising human performance in pressurised critical situations, and is an ATACC course director. His research interests include the physiology of exsanguination, endovascular resuscitation, and cardiac arrest. He was part of the team delivering the ERICA trial assessing REBOA for non-traumatic cardiac arrest at East Anglian Air Ambulance, and he is a faculty member of the EndoVascular resuscitation and Trauma Management (EVTM) society.
