Dr Halden Hutchinson-Bazely BMBS DipIMC RCSEd FFTACC FFICM, is an intensive care and pre hospital care doctor. He completed HEMS training with East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) where he has remained as a clinical supervisor and faculty member, and he volunteers with the North West Prehospital Care Charity (NWPCCC). In hospital he is currently specialising in cardiac intensive care and ECMO. He has a deep interest in simulation and medical education, in particular optimising human performance in pressurised critical situations, and is an ATACC course director. His research interests include the physiology of exsanguination, endovascular resuscitation, and cardiac arrest. He is part of the team delivering the ERICA trial assessing REBOA for non-traumatic cardiac arrest at EAAA, and he is a faculty member of the EndoVascular resuscitation and Trauma Management (EVTM) society.
