Are you one of those people who gets to the stats section of a paper and goes errmmmmmm, seems OK?!??? If so then you are in the majority. All that stats stuff we were taught at Uni is long gone and unless you are a nerd it’s probably not something that you think about every day. However, that’s not going to pass muster if you want to call yourself an evidence based emergency/critical care physician. You really DO need to know the basics.
- You don’t need to be a stats whizz
- You don’t need to know how to do an analsis
- You do need to be able to spot a crap analysis when you seen one.
This short presentation takes you through the basics.
