Discuss pain assessment, treatment and reassessment using the local analgesia guidance.
The breathless patient: act, assess, reassess
Work through the first assessment of a breathless patient, then practise the respiratory examination.
Chest pain: choosing the right diagnostic pathway
Use the chest-pain cases to discuss investigation, uncertainty and the local pathway.
Recognising and responding to suspected sepsis
Discuss recognition of deterioration, initial priorities and escalation.
Making a useful referral
Rehearse a referral, listen to the response and agree what happens next.
Choose one change to try after each session. At the next meeting, discuss what happened and what you would do differently.
