Ask the candidate

How would you present your findings and their significance? Describe distribution and severity of weakness, sensory change, reflex differences and coordination findings. Consider central, root, peripheral nerve or muscle patterns, recognising overlap and examination limitations. Propose relevant wider examination; new focal neurological symptoms need urgent assessment.

What would you do next, and why? Explain the important uncertainty, a relevant next assessment and when help is needed. State what you could not assess.
